Great shoes for fast pace

I’ve done well over 700km in these shoes (city conditions) and they look and feel just like new. You can wash them in the washing machine no problem and they dry real fast. They are super comfortable, I don’t feel a thing even after long and fast runs. The shoes feel more stable and work better with faster under 5/km pace. Perfect when you really need to push. A few things to be aware of: 1) They are very loud, so everyone will hear you’re coming. You’ll get used to it. 2) Running in wet might get tricky as they’re very slippery on some surfaces. Still runnable though, but I had to adjust my running style. 3) Might not work as good with slower > 6/km pace
Not the right shoe for me.

Kind of clunky, and too much energy return for basketball knees. Would prefer a more of a zero drop variation.
Fast shoe but expensive given lack of durability

I've been coaching runners for over four decades. Some of my squad had tried these shoes and liked them so I bought a pair to compare notes. Here's what we found. They are comfortable and have good return and felt fast but after just 200 kms the sole was splitting on both of them where the pod sits because the gap there leaves them exposed to foot forces the rubber clearly can't handle in that 'vacuum'. The resultant split expanded every week and so at the price they don't represent good value unless you have very deep pockets. I thought I'd give them a second chance and buy another pair but the shop said they didn't have any men's shoes in a US 8.5 but said a women's 10 was "exactly the same" so I bought them. They are not the same - don't fall into that trap. I suspect because most women runners are lighter there is something different about the sole because they seem to have less bounce (return) than the original men's shoes I had. For speed these are good shoes but they really need to address the lacing holes (flimsy) and the durability issues. C'mon Nike - either reduce the price or fix the shoe.
