Built for fans of the global phenomenon and sneakerheads, the collection reimagines the Nike Air Max Plus in three exclusive colorways, each inspired by a different Devil Fruit from the series, alongside jerseys, T-shirts, a cap, and a vest. The Nike x One Piece collaboration taps into the franchise’s widespread cultural influence, including its countless intersections with the world of sport. With the collection, Nike brings the imaginative world of One Piece into the real world, showing how sport can be a canvas for creativity, self-expression and imagination. [Shop Collection](https://www.nike.com/launch) ## Quick Takeaways - The Nike x One Piece collection reimagines three Devil Fruits from the manga—Gomu Gomu no Mi, Ope Ope no Mi, and Mera Mera no Mi—as three exclusive Air Max Plus colorways. - Each shoe has a completely retooled upper, with matching jerseys and caps. - The manga-inspired apparel line also includes T-shirts featuring reimagined manga panels and a Jolly Roger design credited to the One Piece character Monkey D. Luffy, plus a vest inspired by the Devil Fruits’ effects. - The collection rolls out across pop-ups and retailers in 19 cities beginning September 4, 2026, with a global release on SNKRS September 25, 2026. [](https://www.nike.com/launch) ## What's in the Nike x One Piece Collection? The collection features three Nike Air Max Plus silhouettes inspired by the colors of the legendary Devil Fruits from One Piece lore, alongside jerseys, T-shirts, caps and a vest. Here’s what to know about each item: __Gomu Gomu no Mi Air Max Plus:__ This space purple sneaker takes its visual cues directly from the fruit’s distinctive appearance. It features a stamped spiral pattern throughout that echoes the fruit’s design, plus atomic green accents and laces that reference its stem. IR0968-500 — NIKE AIR MAX PLUS SP MCN __Ope Ope no Mi Air Max Plus:__ Named for the Ope Ope fruit, this sneaker features textured, embossed spiral graphics, contrasting accents and a Jolly Roger detail. IW1282-600 — NIKE AIR MAX PLUS SP MCN-O __Mera Mera no Mi Air Max Plus__: The Mera Mera-inspired sneaker is a brilliant orange hue. Jade-colored accents and an embossed upper complete the aesthetic. IW1283-800 — NIKE AIR MAX PLUS SP MCN-M Each shoe comes with a matching jersey and cap pulled from the Nike archive. T-shirts featuring a design inspired by the Jolly Roger, along with manga illustrations reimagined in the style of classic Nike ads, further the collection’s storytelling. There’s also a vest inspired by the effects of the Devil Fruits, which are said to make those who eat them “hated by the sea” and unable to swim. The collaboration extends beyond apparel, too. At in-person retail events, fans of *One Piece* can get their hands on the Nike x One Piece Premium Card Collection. [](https://www.nike.com/launch) [](https://www.nike.com/launch) ## Turning Devil Fruits Into Nike Sneakers and Apparel The design team drew inspiration from characters’ transformations in the One Piece series and used that to anchor the collection. "We were inspired by the superhuman abilities that are unleashed when One Piece characters eat the Devil Fruits, much like the feeling an athlete has when they put on a pair of Nikes," said Nick Remlinger, general manager of energy, gaming and pre-order at Nike. That idea became the starting point for reworking the Air Max Plus. Rather than a standard colorway update, each of the three styles features a fully retooled upper, with its design and colorway tied to the story and abilities of a specific Devil Fruit. The apparel followed the same approach: manga panels were reimagined in the visual style of classic Nike advertising and printed on shirts, and a Jolly Roger design pulled directly from the series' own in-story symbolism is featured on a vest.
