Conquer new ground with ease in the Nike ACG Pegasus Trail. With its ability to seamlessly transition from road to trail to pavement, the versatile ACG Pegasus Trail is lightweight, responsive, and built to tackle the multitude of conditions Mother Nature may present. Unveiled alongside the Nike Pegasus 42, the latest iteration of the fan-favorite road running shoe, the ACG Pegasus Trail is an exciting and versatile new Pegasus, ready for anything.

Equipped to help athletes navigate the challenges of tackling tough terrain, the ACG Pegasus Trail takes the popular, trusted running shoe to the next level by partnering with Nike ACG and incorporating key feedback from athletes who tested the shoe in real-world conditions. These athletes include everyday runners hitting the trail, as well as elite athletes who make up Nike’s All Conditions Racing Department, founded to give those who know best a key role in shaping every aspect of the shoe’s design, from durability to fit.

“Building on the storied Pegasus foundation, we set out to create our most versatile trail shoe yet — ready for trail, gravel, and road alike,” says Brenden McAleese, Nike ACG Footwear Director. “It’s our most capable and versatile workhorse to date, thanks to insights from our global testing network and the All Conditions Racing Department.”

The design of the new silhouette includes enhancements to traction, durability, and comfort, making it a versatile shoe ideal for tackling any surface whenever, wherever. The ACG Pegasus Trail is built with an All Terrain Compound 2.0 outsole rubber for improved grip when encountering wet surfaces. The shoe is also equipped with a breathable, quick-draining mesh upper for staying cool and dry in challenging conditions. Additionally, the rubber wrap on the toe area helps keep trail debris out, while the wider toe box and roomier footbed add extra comfort necessary for long distances out on the trail.

“The Pegasus Trail is ACG’s best all-around shoe,” says 2025 Golden Trail World Series Final champion Lauren Gregory, also an All Conditions Racing Department athlete. “It’s responsive and comfortable. I use it for everything in all conditions — from trails to gravel roads, pavement, and a mix of all three.”

Design-wise, the ACG Pegasus Trail does not disappoint. The silhouette will be released in the Jade Horizon colorway, made up of organic, neutral tones resembling Oregon white oak and manzanita trees, which are known for being resilient, adaptable, and tested by the elements — characteristics reminiscent of the ACG Pegasus Trail.

The Pegasus Trail is the latest trail-specific running shoe in the ACG lineup, which also includes the speedy Ultrafly and rugged Zegama. Each ACG running shoe is built on the brand’s four-decade history of serving adventurous athletes around the globe.

The ACG Pegasus Trail makes its debut in April 2026 at Nike.com and select retail stores.
