It helps me slow the game down, play with confidence and make every move with purpose. I’m not reacting to the moment, I’m owning it.” ## Dynamic utility strap Helping to keep the foot locked in for a secure yet lightweight feel, the Tatum 5’s midfoot utility strap supports quick cuts and direction changes. ## Molded midfoot wrap and heel structure A new midfoot structure works with the utility strap to provide consistent stability, a feature of the [best Nike basketball shoes](http://nike.com/a/best-nike-basketball-shoes). ## A 10-millimeter forefoot Air Zoom unit Enhanced cushioning — seen in the [most comfortable Nike basketball shoes](http://nike.com/a/most-comfortable-basketball-shoes)— propels the foot forward and delivers standout energy return to support quick direction changes and smooth transitions from move to move. ## Herringbone traction pattern built with HART 2.0 rubber The tough undersole tread pattern of the Tatum 5 enables sharp stops and precise moves on indoor courts. ## Perforated zone and ballistic mesh vents A perforated zone along the shoe’s side wall enhances breathability.
