In 1995, Michael Jordan was back on the court, in his true element, reminding everyone that he was still “his airness.”

After returning from baseball, Jordan earned his 10th All-Star selection, second All-Star Game MVP, and led the league in scoring with 30.4 points per game. Oh yeah, he also won his third MVP award.

## The Upper
Eye-catchingly clean, the upper of the Air Jordan 11 Varsity Red makes a statement. The silhouette’s signature shiny patent leather mudguard arrives in a vibrantly rich “cherry” red hue, wrapping around the base of the shoe for a slick look.
Extending from the mudguards is a white mesh and leather upper with matching colored eyelets and laces. The brightness of the white perfectly complements the bold red mudguard.
The end result is fresh and stylish, offering the ideal color combination to pair with any fit. It also instantly recalls Jordan’s prime Chicago days and his squad’s iconic uniforms.
## Accents
A staple of the silhouette’s design, branded accents can be found on the back heel and on the tongue.
On the back heel, a varsity red Jumpman is embroidered on the white leather with Jordan’s number 23, embroidered in white on the varsity red overlay.
On the tongue, an embroidered strip features“JUMPMAN JORDAN,” which can only be properly read when the shoe is turned sideways and viewed from a vertical angle.
## Cushioned Sole
A frosted, semi-translucent rubber outsole adds an icy touch to the Air Jordan 11 Varsity Red, paired with a white midsole, which also matches the upper.
Plus, a full-length Air-Sole unit delivers lightweight and responsive cushioning for all-day comfort.
