ROB WILLIAMSNIKE FREE 3.0 FLYKNIT
MARK MINER-SHOE: NIKE FREE 5.0CREATIVE APPROACH: FREE FORM
Mark’s first strength is disruption. He’s an amazing thinker and pushes theboundaries. He’s hands-on and great at cobbling up concepts andexperimenting.“With the Nike Free 5.0 it’s all about fit. We blurred the lines from the bottomto the upper so that they flex graphically and functionally.”
ANGELA MARTIN-SHOE: NIKE FREE 4.0 FLYKNITCREATIVE APPROACH: DIGITAL DETAIL
Angela’s best when working on the computer in 3D. She takes all thatpeople say and zereos in on the one thing. She picks out the details ofone shoe so that they live across the others."I felt like everything came full circle and I got such a rush by runningin something I created - a bit surreal. We preach the benefits ofNike Free but I had never really experienced it until then."
ROB WILLIAMS-SHOE: NIKE FREE 3.0 FLYKNITCREATIVE APPROACH: RENDER REALIST
Rob came to Nike from the automotive industry, so he’s very technical andhas a great aesthetic. He’s an amazing sketcher, renders in marker, andmakes objects look beautiful.“The design started in my sketch book. We began with the idea of taking thehexagonal bottom and wrapping it to the flyknit pattern of the upper.”
