CHAPTER 2 "THE PARK"
You may have seen the custom-built park at Silvretta Montafon, Austria in last year's Chosen Sessions or the Transworld Team Shoot Out, but this custom-sculpted pile of snow also played host to Chapter 2 of the Nike Snowboarding Project.

For 10 days, the likes Sage Kotsenburg, Louie Vito, Gjermund Braaten, Jamie Nicholls, Danny Kass, Ethan Morgan, Jan Scherrer, Peetu Piiroinen and Austin Smith were let loose, while legendary filmmaker Brad Kremer was on hand, and armed with a Phantom cam shooting at 1000 FPS to capture the action.
All the riders had a chance to ride, progress and explore over the course of the trip, which seemed more like an epic Austrian vacation than work. But once they hit the snow though, it was all business. ""Everyone wanted to get shots in the movie so everyone was pushing it and the sessions were really good,"" Gjermund Braaten said. ""It was pretty sick to have everything to just you and your friends, no one else around.""

And this was no average private park session. "It was unique park features it wasn't just your standard park shoot with a 200-foot jump," Austin Smith explained. "They had that, but they also had other stuff that I really enjoyed."
Kremer, who has been a staple snowboard filmmaker for longer than many of the riders on the Nike team have been alive, was wowed by the setting "I've seen a lot of amazing parks in my days, but I have to say that what they built at Montafon for Nike was at the top of the list," he said.

In the end, the good vibes, incredible set up and high tech equipment created a unique mini movie that everyone agreed was one of the best they'd been a part of. "This project actually brought me back to my roots," Kremer said. "It's a little more on the raw side compared to what I have been doing lately. A polished raw, of course. I think that's why the end result is so fun."
