We don’t think we’re revealing any secrets when we say that Jed Anderson is the most influential young riders in snowboarding today and not surprisingly is doing it his own way. He is the world's most innovative rail rider, period. He approaches the streets from a unique perspective with modesty, effortless power, and a skate influenced style.

In the 2011/12 season, Jed logged over 13 minutes of raw footage. Almost all of it was ‘part’ worthy, an outstanding majority was A-grade material and made everyone want to go frame by frame through every shot. The question was, what do you do with all this footage? This is not a problem most riders face.

Style and progression seem to be on two sides of the road now adays. Jed is the epitome of both and is humbly setting the bar in fresh ways. Style is difficult to define, but when its there you can taste it. There is much more to a single trick than where you grab, how many spins you do and your afterbang. Progression isn’t just how many spins you can huck or how high you launch. Its looking through a different lens and approaching an average feature with a unique perspective.
