Currently en route to a store near you direct from distant lands and just in time for summer, Hong Kong skateshop 8Five2’s latest collaboration with Nike Skateboarding is a crisp Janoski low with a medical muse. Drawing inspiration from the orthopedic footwear of nursing practitioners worldwide, this limited-edition release is the utmost in all things fresh and clean with a classic white-on-white leather profile. A timeless style, for sure, but as with anything else, the devil is in the details. Taking cues from previous Janoski releases a few years back, the ever-popular velcro enclosures have once again been substituted in for laces to add that extra dimension of casual swagger and charm. Going in one step further, the crew at 8Five2 also thought to include their very own custom insoles this time for those not certain on which stance to take. Be it regular or goofy, one thing remains certain for this immaculate freshness: never in the club.
