Kyle enjoyed a tremendous college career at Clemson. He set 18 individual scoring records as a freshman, was first-team All-American in 2007 and 2009, was named ACC player of the year in the 2006-07 season, and won the Ben Hogan Award in 2009. Turning professional in 2009, Kyle earned his PGA Tour card for the 2011 season and qualified for the 2011 Open Championship. In 2012, Kyle showed tremendous mental toughness by coming back from 8 strokes down through 54 holes to win the Waste Management Phoenix Open for his first PGA Tour win.
