One of the most accomplished golfers of his generation, Bob Tway was introduced to golf at the age of five by his father and grandfather, and played in his first tournament at age seven. After a distinguished career at Oklahoma State, where he was a three-time first-team All-American, he turned professional in 1981 and joined the PGA Tour in 1985. In 1986 Bob was named PGA Player of the Year after chalking up four victories, including a memorable victory in the PGA Championship, where he holed a greenside bunker shot on the final hole. He currently lives in Oklahoma and enjoys skiing and fishing.
