After playing golf at the University of Oklahoma, Anthony exploded onto the PGA Tour in 2006 when he tied for second in his debut event. He earned his 2007 PGA Tour card and broke into the top 100 in the World Golf Rankings with four top-10 finishes his rookie season. Anthony continued his success in 2008 with his first victory at the Wachovia Championship and a second win at the AT&T National. At the 2009 Masters, Anthony set the record for the most birdies in a round with 11 in the second round. Although he was hampered by injuries, he got his third tour win at the Shell Houston Open in 2010, and in 2011 he posted seven top-25 finishes.
