Fisher joined the European Tour in 2006 and in just his second season won the 2007 KLM Open by a stroke. In 2008, Fisher left nothing to chance as he won the European Open by seven strokes, including an incredible first-round 63 on a course he'd never played before—in either competition or practice. Fisher’s strong play continued as he won the Volvo World Match Play Championship in 2009, finished 5th at the 2009 U.S. Open and won the 3 Irish Open in 2010 by shooting 18 under par. Fisher also played for the Ryder Cup-winning European team in 2010.
