Richard Finch Bio, Images And Videos

After a successful trip through Qualifying School in 2004, Finch joined the European Tour in 2005, finishing 60th on the Order of Merit. He captured his first victory at the 2007 Michael Hill New Zealand Open. In a dramatic finish to the 2008 Irish Open, Finch took an impromptu victory dip in the river before being fished out by his caddie and closing out with a two-stroke win. He started playing golf at his local municipal course at the age of 10 after his uncle lent him some cut-down clubs. His inspiration came from watching his heroes and Masters champions; Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo, and Sandy Lyle.
