Winner of the 2005 Western Amateur, Jamie Lovemark received a special exemption into his first PGA Tour event that same year, where he finished tied for 54th place. As a sophomore at the University of Southern California he won the NCAA Individual title; he has also won the Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Phil Mickelson awards for individual medalist, national player of the year and outstanding freshman. In 2009 he received a sponsor’s invitation into the Frys.com Open and finished tied for first, his 9th PGA Tour event and only his fourth tournament as a professional. He was eliminated on the second playoff hole and tied for second.
