After playing golf at the University of Oklahoma, Anthony Kim exploded onto the PGA Tour in 2006 when he tied for second in his debut event. He earned his 2007 PGA Tour card through Q-School, and broke into the top 100 in the Official World Golf Rankings with 4 top 10 finishes his rookie season. He continued his success in 2008 with his first victory at the Wachovia Championship, and with a second win at the AT&T National, hosted by Tiger Woods. Anthony became the first American under 25 to win twice in one year on the PGA Tour since Tiger Woods in 2000. At the 2009 Masters Tournament, Kim set the record for most birdies in a round, with eleven on the second day.
