Play Breakdown

  1. Survey court

    Dribble with your back towards the defender to protect the ball. Keep your eyes on the court to read the game and weigh your options.

  2. Fake pick and roll

    Your teammate sets up the screen. Your defender is expecting you to use the screen and forgets to defend the line, creating space on the outside. Now quickly change direction with a behind the back dribble and move into the open space.

  3. Euro Step

    Fake out the helping defender with one step to the side, quickly followed by a big step to the opposite side.

  4. Finish

    Pass by your defender and finish the play with a lay-up.
