
The Jordan Fundamentals Grant Program was established in 1999 to recognize outstanding teaching and instructional creativity in public secondary schools that serve economically disadvantaged students. If you and your students have a special project that requires funding or would like to create a project that helps education reach new heights, fill out the Jordan Fundamentals application and apply for a grant today.
This program is enabled by the Jordan Brand, a division of NIKE, Inc., and administered by COMPASS Consulting, a private non-profit educational consulting firm, helping schools and communities develop more effective and equitable interventions, approaches and systems to improve student results.

Interested in being a member of the volunteer/peer Jordan Fundamentals Selection Panel? Please send contact information and no more than a one page biographical sketch of your interests in education and a summary of your professional experience in your field of expertise. Please indicate any previous engagement with Jordan Fundamentals, Team Jordan Athletes, Jordan Brand or Nike, Inc. Indicate the region (East, West, Mid-West, South) for which you would serve on a selection panel*. Email one pager to: mmccreary@compass-consult.org
*Meetings will last 4- 6 hours and preparation will include reviewing between 10- 20 one page proposals prior to the meeting date.
*Please note that members of the selection panel are not eligible for grants in the same year.
Meeting for the South region will be held in Miami on June 12, 2008
Meeting for the Mid-West region will be held in Chicago on June 25, 2008
Meeting for the West region will be held in Los Angeles on July 23, 2008
Meeting for the East region will be held in New York on July 9, 2008
