If you ever run into Chris Paul around town, he’ll likely greet you with a smile and a friendly handshake. He’s as approachable as any star in the game. Just don’t step on the court with him, because he shifts into another beast altogether.

With that in mind, we’re giving you a different take on his CP3.V. These two different colorways represent his distinctively different demeanor both on and off the court.

The first rocks a subtle ‘Wolf Grey’ throughout, pointing to his smooth, chill personality. When you look closer you’ll see subtle pops of color along the lining, pull-tab, out-sole and most importantly – inside the shoe. An expressive, fiery persona lies beneath the surface.

The ‘Bright Crimson’ colorway represents the change that takes place in CP when he takes the court. He morphs into an intensely competitive monster with a sole focus on doing what it takes to win. The ‘Wolf Grey’ representing his off-court personality retreats to the inside of the shoe, allowing the vibrant colors of his on-court persona to take over.

Both colorways (along with CP’s playoff colorways) hit shelves on Wednesday, May 9.
