New Nike Track & Field
Collection Fuses Heritage
and Innovation.

Here’s a quick history lesson: Four decades ago, the co-founders of Nike first linked up when Bill Bowerman was Phil Knight’s college track & field coach. The significance of this legacy has never been forgotten – and is now honored with a four-part Track & Field collection that reflects Nike’s dual commitments to the spirit of running and product innovation. The Nike Sportswear Track & Field collection was influenced by iconic runner Steve Prefontaine, and includes vintage washes on tees, sweatshirts and the Cortez. Running teams in cities such as London, New York, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and Shanghai inspired the Nike International Crews Collection, which boasts items such as the Windrunner jacket, Air Max 90 and Safari. Next, the Nike USATF Collection honors Bowerman’s 10th Mountain Division with a military aesthetic on the MA-1 jacket, and his drive for fitness with the Free Run Deconstruct and the Cortez Decontruct. And, finally, the Nike Fast Unleashed Collection includes dimensional prints and reflective bonding on footwear and apparel like the Safari, Air Max 97 and Fuse collections. All four will be available globally on July 1st.
