Sportswear Tee

The first Nike T-shirt was a success – and failure. Distributed at the 1972 track & field trials, everyone – runners, fans, even the officials – wore it. Against the rules. Logos and labels were prohibited. It would have been great exposure, but everyone was asking who's Mike? That's what the italicized logo looked like. NO WONDER THE NEXT LOGO DESIGN WAS IN BOLD. AND ALL CAPS.

WE REMASTERED THE T-SHIRT

No stiff screen-printing. Now, the T is bold but soft. The original 1979 NIKE SPORTSWEAR logo emblazoned across the chest and deep-dyed with sustainable ink. Constructed of 100% organic cotton.
