What's not to appreciate about Max's raw mid – late 90's influenced mindset and approach to skateboarding. Trendy tricks and fashions don’t apply to Max. There is only an unwritten set of rules to skate by. Often considered to be scathing or outspoken in regard to what is acceptable in skateboarding, Max just sees it the way it is.

These opinions are justified with some valid reasoning and considering this man has filmed more video parts than most, he is in a good position to be judge, juror and executioner. But you need not fear Max, its all just for laugh really.  It's people like him that keep skateboarding real.
